Dublin man acquitted of rape

A 22-year-old man has been acquitted at the Central Criminal Court of raping a woman with whom he had a brief relationship.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had pleaded not guilty to raping the woman at her Dublin home on November 18, 2006.
