Bord Gais boss: Salary key to attracting candidates for top jobs

The chief executive of Bord Gais has suggested that capping the salaries of semi-state bosses could put future candidates off applying for the job.

It is expected that the Government will use the Budget to limit the wages of chief executives of companies such as Bord Gais, ESB and Coillte.
