Homeless agency extends services amid cold snap

Homeless agency Crosscare said today it has extended the opening hours of its shelters in Dublin to cater for increased demand during the current cold spell.

It has also increased the number of hot meals available and is providing 220 meals a day to people in their own homes, double the normal provision.
