Bus Éireann have said most of their services around the country are operating as normal with some delays and diversions in affected areas.

Bus Éireann have said most of their services around the country are operating as normal with some delays and diversions in affected areas.

Some services that were cancelled earlier in the day, particularly in Athlone and the east of the country, are now operating with some delays and diversions.

Bus Éireann customers are asked to visit www.transport.ie or www.buseireann.ie or their local travel centre for latest information on service changes.

Irish Rail have said that, while there was some disruption to Dublin commuter and Galway services earlier, all routes are now running.

Bus Éireann services that were cancelled earlier in the day, but have returned to service with some delays and diversions include:

20 Galway-Athlone-Dublin is operating with delays

72 Limerick-Athlone – operating with some delays

115 Mullingar-Dublin operating with delays

111 Trim-Athboy 17.30 departure from Dublin cancelled, other services operating

120 Edenderry-Dublin operating with delays and diversion

118 Ballivor-Dublin

Some services remain cancelled. For instance:

73 Athlone-Waterford

21 Westport-Athlone-Dublin

There is some disruption to services in Cork

Route 40 Cork-Waterford is unable to serve Kilmeaden and Kilmacthomas in both directions.

Route 222 Cork-Crosshaven- Operating via Carrs Hill in both directions. Unable to operate via Maryboro Hill.

Routes 240, 241, 260, 261 unable to serve Glounthane and Little Island. All these services operating into Carrigtwohill and Midleton via N25.
