Accenture to bring 100 highly skilled jobs to Dublin

Global management consultant Accenture is to create 100 high-skilled jobs over the next four years, it was announced today.

The company is taking on both graduates and experienced staff to work in its new research, development and innovation centre in Dublin.

The recruits will have analytical and statistics experience ranging from PhD level to graduate level.

The move is being backed by the IDA.

Barry O’Leary, IDA Ireland chief, said the country was developing a reputation as a global hub for analytics.

“These strategically important investments are testament to the talent and expertise available in Ireland, the pro-business environment and Ireland’s strong track record in attracting knowledge based and technology investments,” Mr O’Leary said.

Mark Ryan, country managing director of Accenture in Ireland, said: “Today’s announcement marks another milestone in the ongoing development of Accenture in Ireland.”

Accenture employs 1,300 people in Ireland.

Other centres in the analytics network are located in Bangalore, Chicago, Milan, Mumbai, New Delhi and San Jose, California, with others across the world planned.

Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, with approximately 204,000 employees in more than 120 countries.
