Gardaí arrest man in connection with Finglas shooting

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident in Finglas in north Dublin earlier this year have arrested a man.

Two men were injured when shots were fired at them in a van on the River Road on July 15.

A 28-year-old was detained this morning in Finglas under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act on suspicion of unlawfully possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He is being questioned at Cabra Garda Station and can be detained for up to 72 hours.
