Group urges elderly to take part in free events in Dublin

Elderly members of society are being encouraged to head to into Dublin city centre this afternoon to mark senior citizen day.

A range of cultural events and entertainments that are either free or at a reduced rate have been organised, as well as a variety of special offers in some of the leading shops.
