Fine Gael TD announces retirement plans

Fine Gael TD for Cavan/Monaghan Seymour Crawford has announced that he intends to retire at the next General Election.

Mr Crawford was first elected in 1992 and has held several positions in the areas of agriculture and food, social and family affairs and environment

He said today that it is time for the younger generation to come forward to lead the economic recovery.
