Lowry calls for election if parties cannot agree on Budget
Independent TD Michael Lowry has said that Fine Gael and Labour should say whether they are going to cooperate with the Budget - and that if they are not, that a General Election should be called.
Mr Lowry said there was no guarantee that he would vote in favour of the Government's Budget plan on December 7, clarifying an earlier statement where he appeared to call for cross-party support for it.
