Sharp exchanges in Dáil as deputies debate bailout

Fine Gael TD Alan Shatter has been suspended from the Dáil after rowdy exchanges following confirmation that the IMF are in Ireland to negotiate the terms of a multi-billion euro loan for the country.

The governor of the Central Bank Patrick Honohan said Ireland could recieve "tens of billions" of euro as part of an EU/IMF emergency loan.
