Jack and Jill Foundation launches new book to raise funds

The Jack and Jill Foundation is launching a new children's book today as part of its campaign to raise funds urgently.

The book 'There's No Place Like Home at Christmas' is a collection of Christmas stories from well-known Irish celebrities and is available in bookstores around the country.

The charity hopes to raise €750,000 to keep its home nursing care support service going into next year, as it has not got the funding it requires from the HSE.

Jack and Jill also hopes to collect 250,000 mobile phones over Christmas and the New Year.
