Elderly man dies after traffic accident

An 87-year-old man has died after being knocked down by a car in west Belfast, it has emerged today.

The incident occurred just after 7pm yesterday evening on Finaghy Road.

The PSNI have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them.
