Gardaí warn of dangerous conditions on M11

Gardaí are advising motorists to drive with extreme care on the M11 Dublin/Wexford Rd due to black ice, especially heading southbound from Newtown Mount Kennedy to the Arklow exit.

AA roadwatch says overall driving conditions are quite poor around the country this morning with ice and fog reported in many counties.

Motorists are being advised to drive with extra care, reduce their speed and use fog lights when needed.
