Man due in court in connection with Dublin murder
A 22-year-old man is due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the gun murder of a father of two in Dublin three months ago.
Daniel Gaynor (aged 25) was killed in Finglas on August 14. He was was shot in the neck and chest as he walked with his partner and two children along St Helena's Road in the area.
The suspect, from Ballyfermot in Dublin, disappeared shortly after the shooting.
However, he was arrested by detectives shortly after he stepped off a flight from Malaga at Dublin airport on Sunday night.
He was taken to Finglas Garda Station, where he was charged last night. He will be brought to Blanchardstown District Court later this morning.
