Gardaí arrest man in connection with Dublin shooting

A 22-year-old man has been arrested over the shooting of a father of two in Dublin almost three months ago.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested over the shooting of a father of two in Dublin almost three months ago.

Daniel Gaynor, aged 25, was shot dead in front of his partner and two children at the junction of Barnamore Crescent and St Helena's Road in Finglas on August 14.

As part of the investigation, gardaí arrested the man in Dublin last night and he is being held at Finglas Garda Station for questioning.
