Two die in collision between bus and van
Two people have been killed in county Galway following an accident involving a bus and a van on the N17.
A man in his 60s and another in his 30s, both the drivers, were pronounced dead at the scene.
There were 27 passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.
Ten people are currently being treated for their injuries at Galway University Hospital and their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
There was no one else in the van at the time of the accident.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place on the Tuam Galway Road.
Gardaí will carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
The fatal crash happened at Glanafosha near Claretuam at 7.45pm last night.
