A group of around 20 farmers today staged a sit-in at the Ulster Bank in Malahide in North Dublin in protest at the bank's treatment of growers following the forced sale of a co-op in Balbriggan.

A group of around 20 farmers today staged a sit-in at the Ulster Bank in Malahide in North Dublin in protest at the bank's treatment of growers following the forced sale of a co-op in Balbriggan.

Growers are owed €300,000 for produce they supplied to Groomes Vegetable Suppliers, following Ulster Bank's appointment of a receiver to the co-op.
