Up to 84% of bosses cancel Christmas parties

A record number of bosses, 84%, have pulled the plug on the Christmas party.

A new survey from Peninsula Ireland questioned more than 800 employers and revealed more than 70% have cancelled the annual office do because they cannot afford it.

Up to 68% say thay have had to deal with staff complaints in the aftermath of a previous celebration.
