Second arrest in Wexford hit and run probe

A second person has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run in Co Wexford over the weekend.

Twenty-year-old Kelly Gregan died after being hit by a car on Gorey's Main St in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Her friend was also injured.

A woman aged in her 30s was detained in Gorey at 10.30am this morning and is being questioned by gardaí in Enniscorthy.

A man arrested yesterday remains in custody.

A vehicle thought to have been involved in the incident was found burnt out on the outskirts of Gorey on Sunday morning.
