The Social Welfare Offices in Ballina, Co Mayo have been evacuated this afternoon after someone entered the building and released a hazardous substance.

The Social Welfare Offices in Ballina, Co Mayo have been evacuated this afternoon after someone entered the building and released a hazardous substance.

Nobody was injured and whilst the exact nature of the substance is not known, Gardaí believe it was flammable.
