Gardaí find gun used in Clondalkin shooting
Gardaí have recovered the gun used in last night's shooting in Dublin, in which a man was critically injured.
The victim - a 30-year-old man - is being cared for at Tallaght Hospital.
He was shot at a number of times outside a house on Foxdene Park in Clondalkin just after 8.30pm.
A lone man armed with a handgun carried out the attack, in which the victim was shot several times in the shoulder and head just after he alighted from a car.
The scene remains sealed off for further forensic examinations this afternoon.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at Ronanstown garda station.
