Man in serious condition following Dublin shooting

A 30 year-old man has been seriously injured in a gun attack in the capital.

It happened outside a house in the Foxdene Park area of Neilstown at about 8.40pm.

The victim was shot several times has been brought to Tallaght hospital where his condition is described as serious.

He was shot by a lone gunman as he was getting out of a car.

The scene has been sealed of for a technical examination.
