Sale of EBS 'in final stages': Lenihan

The Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan has said the sale of the EBS Building Society is in its final stages.

Irish Life and Permanent and a consortium of international investors led by Cardinal Capital Group are the two bidders selected for the final stage of the process to sell EBS Building Society.

Final bids will be prepared in the coming weeks.
