Three questioned in connection with Dublin assault

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question three men in connection with a serious assault on a man in the city centre yesterday morning.

The 41-year-old received serious head injuries when he was attacked at the junction of Oriel Street and Seville Place shortly after 8am.

Two men - aged in their 50s and 30s - and a teenager are being questioned by gardaí at Store Street.

Gardaí are also appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward.
