Men due in court in connection with Limerick drugs seizure

Two men are due before Limerick District Court this morning charged with having €170,000 worth of heroin.

The drugs were found by gardaí last Friday near the Moyross housing estate in Limerick city.

Adam Lewelleyn (aged 18), of Craeval Park, Moyross, and 20-year-old James O'Keeffe of Moylish Crescent, Ballynanty, Limerick, are expected to apply for bail.

A man in his 40s remains in Garda custody this morning as part of the same Garda drugs probe.
