Two men being questioned about an attack in Co Louth, after which an 18-year-old died, have been released without charge.

Two men being questioned about an attack in Co Louth, after which an 18-year-old died, have been released without charge.

A third man remains in custody in Drogheda garda station.

Eighteen-year-old Niall Dorr is thought to have received head injuries in the attack on Castle Road in Dundalk on Wednesday evening.

He died the following night.

Files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the two men who have been released from custody.
