Leas Cross not suitable for Down Syndrome man - report

An investigation into the transfer of a Down Syndrome man who died shortly after his arrival at the Leas Cross nursing home in Dublin has found that the facility was not suitable for him.
Sixty-year-old Peter McKenna - who had Alzheimers Disease - died 12 days after he was transferred from St Michael's House to the former home in Swords.
The inquiry also found that assessments prior to his transfer had been inadequate.
