Contract to be signed for construction of CF unit

The contract for a long-awaited unit for those living with Cystic Fibrosis is expected to be signed later today.

The new facility at St. Vincents Hospital in Dublin with have individual en-suite units dedicated solely for those patients.

Those living with the condition are welcoming the development but say it is long overdue.

Campaigner Orla Tinsley said it is a move which will change the lives of CF patients here.
