Mayo murder trial to begin later

A Mayo man is to go on trial at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin today for the murder of a man in Kiltimagh last year.

Fintan McKenna of Woodlands, Balla in Castlebar has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Francis Heneghan on August 12, 2009.

The 24-year-old construction worker from Ballyheane, outside Castlebar, died after being stabbed during an altercation near a pub.
