Jury retires in trial of man for stabbing of supermarket thief

The jury has retired in the trial of a 22-year-old Dublin man accused of murdering an armed robber as he tried to make his getaway.

The Central Criminal Court has heard Paul Howe stole €850 at Supervalu on the Howth Road minutes before he was stabbed to death.

It is alleged David Wilson of Marigold Avenue, Darndale, murdered the 22-year-old as he tried to climb over a wall in the car park of the store on October 8, 2008.
