A man in his 40s has been killed in a road accident in Co Meath this morning.

A man in his 40s has been killed in a road accident in Co Meath this morning.

The man was struck by a van on the M3 near Dunshaughlin at around 6am.

His body has been removed to Navan General Hospital.

A section of the road between Dunshauglin and Skryne and Kilmessan northbound on the M3 remains closed.
