O'Connell Street statues to be moved for Metro work

Some of Dublin's most iconic statues are to be removed from O'Connell Street in Dublin to allow construction of Metro-North.

Assuming planning permission is granted, the monuments of Daniel O'Connell, James Larkin, John Gray and William Smith-O'Brien will be re-located to National Museum at Collins Barracks.
