Rail chiefs today sought permission to press ahead with a €2.5bn Dart Underground in Dublin with work expected to begin within two years.

The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan says he is seriously considering inviting more foreign construction companies into Ireland, to complete projects approved by his Department.
