Costello: Public services stretched beyond breaking

Labour Party TD Joe Costello will demonstrate outside the Mater Hospital in Dublin today in protest at the conditions in the hospital A&E.

Deputy Costello has said there are 20 people on trolleys in the hospital and that is "completely unacceptable".

He said: "Public services are being stretched to breaking point and beyond, thanks to a Government that seems hell bent on singling out people who rely on public services."
