Gardaí appeal for information on Limerick shooting

Gardaí are appealing for information after a man was shot in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

The 22-year-old sustained gunshot wounds to his back in the Lee Estate close to St Mary's Park just before 1am.

He was treated at the Mid Western Regional Hospital and has since been discharged.

Gardaí at Henry Street are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
