Impact: Public sector workers ready to help economic recovery
A union leader has said public sector workers are ready to make a difference in Ireland's economic recovery.
The Finance Minister Brian Lenihan warned yesterday that the support being given to the banks would mean a tougher Budget to come in December.
It has raised question marks about the future implementation of the Croke Park Agreement on public service reform.
Deputy General Secretary of the Impact union Kevin Callinan said a lot of this week's events were already factored into the preparation of the Agreement.
