Nearly one in three Irish have never been online, says EU report

Almost one in three Irish people have never gone online, according to new data from the European Commission.

It has been estimated that around half of economic growth now depends on the Information and Communication Technology sector either directly or indirectly, but EU spending as a whole on ICT research is less than half of US levels.
