Dublin teenager injured on Wicklow mountains school trip
A Dublin teenager has been airlifted to hospital after sustaining an injury on a school tour to the Wicklow mountains.
The 14-year-old who was part of a group of students from a Dublin school - fell and severely gashed his knee while walking along the 'Spinc' route above Glendalough valley.
Mountain rescue requested the assistance of the Coastguard helicopter to get the boy safely off the mountain to Tallaght hospital in Dublin, where he isnow being treated.
