Dublin-based sex offender agrees to extradition

A sex offender has agreed to be extradited back to Scotland where he is wanted for failing to notify the authorities of his whereabouts.

Fraser Benjamin McLoughlin appeared at the High Court for a second time since his arrest at a Dublin hostel earlier this month.

The 57-year-old from South Lanarkshire is on the sex offenders register and is facing charges in Scotland for not alerting British police to a change of address last May.

He was sentenced to two years in prison in 2005 on child pornography charges.
