Man arrested after Waterford stabbing

A man in his 20s has been stabbed in an attack at a house in Waterford city.

It happened at about 11pm last night in Ardmore Park.

The victim was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

In a follow-up operation in the city this morning, Gardaí arrested a 34-year-old man for questioning about the attack.

He is being questioned at Waterford Garda Station.
