O'Leary: Shannon 'dying on its feet'

Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary claims that Shannon Airport is "dying on its feet".

The low fares airline has confirmed that it is cutting its services from the midwest by 20%.

It is to scrap its Shannon to Paris route and it will reduce frequency on services to London Gatwick and London Stansted from November 1.

Mr O'Leary, is blaming an increase in passenger charges at Shannon and has branded those responsible for the hikes "idiots".
