Dempsey 'has u-turned on election promises'

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey is under fire tonight.

Campaigners against the downgrading of services at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan say he has U-turned on election promises regarding the facility.

More than 600 people gathered in a rally in support of the hospital earlier.

Deputy Mayor of Navan, Peadar Toibin, has said Noel Dempsey has let down his contstituents.
