Wholesaler BWG foods, operator of the SPAR franchise, has announced it is to close its Ballyshannon, Co Donegal plant from October 1 with the loss of 21 jobs.

Wholesaler BWG foods, operator of the SPAR franchise, has announced it is to close its Ballyshannon, Co Donegal plant from October 1 with the loss of 21 jobs.

The company said that following a strategic review it has decided to transfer distribution activity to Dublin.
