Three remain in custody in connection with major cannabis find
Gardaí in Dublin are still questioning three men with links to a major cannabis distribution network.
The men, who were detained in separate raids across Dublin over the last few days, can be held for up to a week.
Around €1.4m worth of cannabis was seized and a 60-year-old man was detained when a van was stopped and searched on Arran Quay in the city centre on Tuesday.
In a follow-up operation on Wednesday a warehouse was raided in an industrial estate near Rathcoole.
A second man, aged 40, was arrested and cannabis, believed to be worth about €400,000, was recovered.
Yesterday a third man, a 23-year-old, was arrested in the city centre.
