Suspected bomb found in Limerick

Limerick gardaí have sealed off part of the city, following the discovery of a suspected explosive device.

An area at Cliona Park in Moyross was sealed off and a number of homes in the area have been evacuated.

The discovery was made at around midday.

An army bomb disposal team has been requested to attend the scene.
