Callely gets two more weeks
The Seanad Committee on Members Interests has given Ivor Callely a further two weeks to respond to allegations about his expenses.
The committee has also decided this evening to dismiss the complaint made against Senator Ronan Mullen - who was facing questions over an anecdote he told about expenses.
No further action will be taken by the committee against Senator Ann Ormonde - who faced allegations over travel expenses.
However Senator Larry Butler has been ordered to attend a public hearing on Tuesday, September 21st to deal with questions from the committee about his travel claims.
