Man shot dead in Finglas

A 25-year-old man has been shot dead in north Dublin this evening.

It is understood the man was shot at Barnmore Crescent in Finglas just before 7pm.

He was rushed to Connolly Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

There are no further details available at present.
