Call centre closure leads to 100 job losses in Donegal

Up to 100 jobs are to go at the Keith Prowse call centre in Lisfannon, Buncrana, Co Donegal which handles ticket sales for entertainment events.

Fifty full-time and 50 part-time jobs are to be lost when the call centre officially closes its doors on Sunday.

The company has suspended trading pending possible restructure and are waiting for the appointment of the administrators

Mayor of Buncrana and Deputy Mayor of Donegal, Cllr Padraig Mac Lochlainn has said it is a devastating blow to the area.
