Two due in court in connection with attempted robbery

Two men are due in court this morning to face charges over an attempted armed robbery in Dublin earlier this week.

It happened at a shop on Bolton Street in the city on Tuesday morning when two men entered the premises and tied up two members of staff.

However an alarm was activated and gardaí arrived on the scene.

Two suspects in their early 30s were arrested at the scene and are due to appear in court this morning.
