A 28-year-old Corkman has been remanded in custody after he was charged with the manslaughter of a 30-year-old Polish man in Cork city earlier this year.

A 28-year-old Corkman has been remanded in custody after he was charged with the manslaughter of a 30-year-old Polish man in Cork city earlier this year.

Connie Horgan with an address at St. Vincent's Hostel, Anglesea Street, Cork appeared before Cork District Court today.

He was charged with the unlawful killing of Ariel Cegielka on Lower Oliver Plunkett St on April 17 last.

Judge Tim Lucey remanded the accused in custody to appear at Cork Circuit Criminal Court on November 8 next.
